Most people are familiar with Magic.  It is the bi-annual fashion and apparel tradeshow at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  However, most people will never get to experience Magic first-hand as it is for ‘industry folk’ only.

This year, the Rio Casino & Hotel has agreed to be the host venue of a unique event… a free and open-to-the-public festival that aggregates fashion, music and media.   On Wednesday, February 18th Phocus Entertainment, Nightlife Guru, and the Rio present: Passion for Fashion. 

Passion for Fashion will open its doors at noon. Until 7pm, the public (18 and older) will be allowed to wander the VooDoo Beach complex.  Sprinkled through the event will be vendor booths (pool-side cabanas) filled with companies promoting clothing lines, record labels, online networks, green energy and more. 

An eclectic collection of musical performances are slated for the daytime festival.  Later that night, Phocus Entertainment has secured the bay-area super group Hieroglyphics to headline the Soled Out, old-school hip hop, after-party at the multi-level, roof-top VooDoo Lounge.

Again, the public is invited to attend both the daytime Passion for Fashion festival and the Soled Out after-party Wednesday night.  The daytime event is FREE.  No presale for the after-party... tickets for purchase at the door.  Magic badges get free admission to after-party.  Media are invited to all events and will be given all-access.
